Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to signaturebgremover.app, its connected account and billing services, and support interactions. It describes what we may handle when you use the Signature Background Remover tool, create an account, contact support, or purchase a plan. Your browser, sign-in provider, payment provider, advertising providers, analytics providers, and image-processing providers may have separate terms and privacy policies.
Signature image selection and processing
When you choose an image, the selected file stays in your browser until you submit it or remove it. The English tool accepts one JPG, PNG, or WebP image up to 10 MB. A camera capture is also treated as an image selected for the same workflow.
When you submit an image for background removal, the image data and selected cleanup settings are sent to our Worker and configured image-processing provider so a transparent signature result can be generated. The site does not intentionally write submitted signature images into its account, order, or usage tables. The provider may create temporary upload files, task records, and result links needed to complete the request; those temporary items may expire under the provider's service terms.
Account and sign-in information
If you sign in with Google, we may process the identity details you authorize, such as your account identifier, name, email address, profile image, sign-in provider identifier, and sign-in timestamps. We use this information to authenticate you, connect credits or subscriptions to the correct account, prevent abuse, and provide account features.
Signing in does not give Signature Background Remover access to your email mailbox or other private account content. The signature tool processes an image action only when you actively submit it.
Usage, credits, payments, and orders
Account services may process your account ID, plan or entitlement status, credit balance, task and usage records, timestamps, coded error or security events, and information needed to enforce access limits. Each completed signature background-removal task currently uses 2 credits on credit-based accounts.
When you start or complete a purchase, we and the payment provider may process your account identifier, email address, selected plan, currency, amount, tax information, transaction reference, payment status, renewal dates, and related billing events. Complete payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by Signature Background Remover.
Website, device, and support information
When you visit the website or use connected account services, we and our infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, cookie or local-storage identifiers, response status, and security or diagnostic logs. We use this information to deliver the service, keep it secure, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and understand aggregate performance.
If you contact support, we process your email address, message, attachments you choose to send, and information needed to respond. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, bank credentials, or a private signature image unless a limited example is necessary and you choose to provide it.
Cookies, analytics, advertising, and Google services
The website may use browser storage, cookies, and third-party analytics or measurement tools, including Microsoft Clarity, to understand aggregate usage, diagnose errors, and improve the service. Account sign-in also uses browser storage or cookies needed for authentication and session-related features.
The website may display advertising through Google AdSense or similar services. Google and its partners may collect, share, and use information to provide, personalize, measure, and secure their services. This may include IP addresses, cookie identifiers, device or browser identifiers, approximate location, page visits, and interactions. Depending on your location and applicable law, we may request consent before using non-essential advertising or analytics technologies.
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
How information is shared
We may share the minimum information needed with providers that support hosting, authentication, payment processing, customer support, security, analytics, advertising, and image processing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell submitted signature images and do not intentionally use submitted images to build an advertising profile. Service providers may process account, billing, website, operational, or image-request information for the services they provide to us and under their own legal obligations.
Retention and security
We do not intentionally store submitted signature images in the site's account, order, or usage tables. We retain account, transaction, support, security, and processing records only for as long as reasonably needed for service operation, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement. The configured image-processing provider may temporarily process request content and result files under its applicable service terms.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections for sensitive data transmitted to our services. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in account, browser profile, device, and any images or results you save.
Your choices, rights, and account deletion
You can remove an unsubmitted image from the tool, stop using the service, manage browser cookies and storage, cancel future subscription renewals, request account deletion, or contact us about privacy rights that apply to you. Depending on your location, those rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Some billing, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may need to be retained.

Children, international processing, and changes
Signature Background Remover is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
